SERMA TECHNOLOGIES ESD and SEM test services accredited by the French Accreditation Committee (COFRAC)

NF EN ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation to ESD-HBM, ESD-CDM and SEM-observation-and-measurement.

 

Grenoble, November, 2015 – SERMA TECHNOLOGIES, a service company specialised in test, analysis, expertise, training and consulting service of semiconductor, electronic components, PV, batteries, boards and systems, is pleased to announce the expansion of the ISO/CEI 17025:2005 scope. Following tests are now covered by the accreditation:

1. Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) - Human Body Model (HBM) stress according to ANSI/ESDA/JEDEC JS-001 standard.

2. Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) - Charged Device Model (CDM) stress according to ANSI/ESDA/JEDEC JS-002 standard.

3. Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) morphological observations and dimensional measurements.

 

The ISO/IEC 17025 is an international standard which lays out the “general requirements concerning the competence of calibration and trial laboratories”. It recognises technical competences and the quality of laboratory management. The French Accreditation Committee (COFRAC) has acknowledged the high quality of the tests performed at Grenoble site, France.

SERMA TECHNOLOGIES Grenoble laboratory has an ISO/IEC 17025:2005 accreditation which is valid until June 30th, 2018 with accreditation code 1-5219.
